Eddie Izzard's amazing Adventure
Eddie Izzard!
Now I am sure that most of you have heard of his fantastic achivement of running a lot of marathons recently. However, 43 in 51 days!! If you have not seen the documentary about his journey then it is definately worth a watch (episode 1). Episodes 2 and 3 will be shown at 10.30pm on BBC 3 on Thursday 11th March and 18th March respectively.
I have seen many people with great mental strength and whilst I don't think this pre-event training programme was the best!!! (Only 5 and a half weeks) it is a testament to Eddie Izzards great mental strength and commitment to his sport relief cause.
So if you are running around the beautiful Dartford streets thinking "I can't do this!" then for some motivation it is definately worth a watch.
Here is a taster of his first week on the Road, running from Trafalgar Square to Cardiff before taking on the might of the Brecon Beacons!!
